What comes from believing in Jesus? Check out Romans 10:9, NIV. "If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

God says we’re right with Him if we believe. It’s in the Bible, Genesis 15:6, NIV. "Abram believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness."

Can what you do be separated from what you believe? Look in the Bible in James 2:22, NIV. “You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.”

True "believing" in the Bible is a relationship with God, not just an opinion. It’s in the Bible, John 14:15, NIV "If you love Me, you will obey what I command."

Is there any kind of believing does God rejects? It is not enough to believe God exists. Look in the Bible, James 2:19, TLB. "Are there still some among you who hold that ‘only believing’ is enough? Believing in one God? Well, remember that the demons believe this too--so strongly that they tremble in terror!"

What does belief have to do with having my prayers answered? Look in James 1:6-8, NIV. “But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.”
