God challenges us to be courageous. Look in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14. NIV. “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong”

I can be courageous only as I trust in God. Check it out in Deuteronomy 31:6, NKJV. "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."

Can God give me courage to speak for Him? A sign of the nearness of Jesus’ coming is the lack of courage many people will have because of the troubles happening on the earth. See for yourself in Luke 21:26-27, TLB.. “The courage of many people will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, for the stability of the very heavens will be broken up.

I can have courage to face God when he comes because I trust in His promises that He will save me. It’s in the Bible in Hebrews 6:18, TLB. “He has given us both his promise and his oath, two things we can completely count on, for it is impossible for God to tell a lie. Now all those who flee to him to save them can take new courage when they hear such assurances from God; now they can know without doubt that he will give them the salvation he has promised them.”
