Heaven is a real place with lots of excitement. Nothing you’ve ever seen or done can compare with what it is like, or what God has planned to do there. It’s in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 2:9, NIV. "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.”

All the animals will be pets. They will all live peacefully together. It’s in the Bible, Isaiah 11:6,7, TLB. “In that day the wolf and the lamb will lie down together, and the leopard and goats will be at peace. Calves and fat cattle will be safe among the lions, and a little child will lead them. The cows will graze among bears; cubs and calves will lie down together, and lions will eat grass like the cows.”

Even snakes won’t hurt the people of heaven. In fact, nothing will hurt you in there. It’s in the Bible, Isaiah 11:8,9 TLB. “Babies will crawl safely among poisonous snakes, and a little child who puts his hand in a nest of deadly adders will pull it out unharmed. Nothing will hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain.”

Heaven will be full of discovery, work you’ll love to do and play. It’s in the Bible, Isaiah 65:21, NIV. “They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.”

We will even get to watch as God creates a new earth and new heavens. It’s in the Bible, Isaiah 65:17, TLB. “For see, I am creating new heavens and a new earth – so wonderful that no one will even think about the old ones anymore.”

But the best news ever, is that God will be there, living right there with us. Because He will be there, no pain, hurt, tears, war, or any kind of sorrow will be there. It’s in the Bible, Revelation 21:3,4, TLB. “Look the home of God is now among men, and He will live with them and they will be his people: yes, God himself will be among them. He will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. All of that has gone forever.”
