Kindness
Has God shown any kindness to me? The most that anyone ever has! Look in the Bible in Titus 3:4-7, TLB. “But when the time came for the kindness and love of God our Savior to appear, then he saved us-not because we were good enough to be saved but because of his kindness and pity-by washing away our sins and giving us the new joy of the indwelling Holy Spirit, whom he poured out upon us with wonderful fullness-and all because of what Jesus Christ our Savior did so that he could declare us good in God's eyes-all because of his great kindness; and now we can share in the wealth of the eternal life he gives us, and we are eagerly looking forward to receiving it.”
How can I become a kind person? Kindness comes from God and being filled with His Holy Spirit. Look in the Bible in Galatians 5:22-23, NIV. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Random Acts of Kindness – They are like showing a picture of God to someone!. You’ll find it in the Bible, Luke 6:35, TLB. "Love your enemies! Do good to them! Lend to them! And don't be concerned about the fact that they won’t repay. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as sons of God: for He is kind to the unthankful and to those who are very wicked."
Do I need to show kindness to someone who has mistreated me? . The answer is in the Bible, Romans 12:14, TLB. Genuine kindness is our response to God’s love
Should kindness be seen in all of God’s people? You are certainly right and you will find it in the Bible, Colossians 3:12, NIV. "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
